As a Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our continued success and growth in the industry. OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our third-party logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of supply chain management, and a proven track record of optimizing logistics processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. We are looking for a highly organized and efficient professional who is detailed-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated. Being goal-oriented, organized, and able to manage time well will help you succeed in this position. RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively coordinate and schedule transportation services. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize third-party logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. Oversee the execution of end-to-end logistics strategies, including freight negotiations; contract across all modes, including inbound and outbound. Negotiate annual contracts with all carriers, couriers, and partner. Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Plan, review, and revise Transportation schedules and routes to ensure increased efficiency and any possible consolidation; conduct daily routing changes as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Communicate with drivers and other facility departments to ensure smooth operation. Meet or exceed established performance minimums for assigned locations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of third-party logistics operations and identify areas for improvement. Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies and procedures. Understand and promote the companys culture, mission, values, policies, and procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and clients' customers. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Minimum of [2] years of experience in third-party logistics management or a similar role within the logistics and wireless industry. Excellent communication [written and verbal], negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership skills and experience with the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team toward common goals. Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and achieve business objectives. Proficiency in logistics software and systems, as well as a solid understanding of industry trends and best practices. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in customer service. Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to service issues. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
