Lynker is seeking an organized and talented Agile Project Manager to support one of our long-term government contracts. The Lynker Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master selected will be responsible for maintaining project documentation deliverables, project plans; conducting sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups and retrospectives; and coaching the team in Agile best practices, such as sprint planning. The Agile Project Manager role is an exempt position and will be mostly remote (Proximity to Alexandria, VA for occasional site visits would be a BIG PLUS).

Duties of the Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master selected will include the Following:

Understand the high-level product vision to develop effective plans to execute the program including tracking and identifying / mitigating impediments

Providing weekly status, monthly status, financial utilization reporting and meeting agendas and minutes

Developing project management, internal operations / communications, risk management, and transition plans and other project deliverables

Facilitating daily standup and other Scrum events

Leverage project management and agile best practices to plan to help the team deliver solutions that meet the product owner needs

Approach management of data product delivery to ensure maximum flexibility and timeliness for projects of varying priority levels and processing difficulties

Encourage flexible software development activities to meet the needs of new datasets, leadership priorities, and to address changing user needs.

The Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master selected should have the following Skills/Experience:

5+ years of Project Management experience / leadership supporting Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects

5+ years of experience in Agile Project Management methodologies

Bachelor's degree

Certified Scrum Master is a BIG PLUS

Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a BIG PLUS

Requires highly motivated, self-driven, goal-oriented individual committed to executing projects on schedule and proactively identifying and tracking issues and risks

High degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management

Hands on experience on Agile practices

Ability to plan and track using Jira or a similar agile management tool, including the development and reporting of sprint performance metrics

The Ideal Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master selected will have the Following:

Experience with statistical data products

5+ years of Project Management experience / leadership supporting Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects
