Lead Public Area Attendant

Position Summary:

The primary purpose the Lead Public Area Attendant position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Common Areas in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility and as may be directed by the Housekeeping Managers and/or The Director of Housekeeping to assure that our facility common areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

•Ensure inventory levels are maintained.

•Lead a team of 4-6 to provide quality cleanliness in all common areas.

•Cleans and sanitizes bathroom including toilets, tiles, shower walls and curtains, mirrors, sink and fixtures.

•Sweep and mop floors.

•Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays.

•Maintain cleanliness of restaurant/bar floors

•Wipes all windows inside & out including windowsills, walls and light switches.

•Vacuum hallways and stairs

•Dust all furniture and fixtures.

•Report any Maintenance Issues

•Sweep and mop restaurants, hallways.

•Cleans walls, baseboards, and floors.

•Restocks towels, wash cloths, soap, paper towel and other supplies and amenities.

•Washes, dries, and folds laundry.

•Clean Fitness Center

•Maintain Cleanliness of our Tennis Center

•Maintain all public restrooms across the resort.

•Perform other duties as appropriate.

Qualifications:

•High school preferred.

•1-year applicable custodial experience

•Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.

•Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.

•Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.

Classification:

Full-Time Year Round, Hourly, Non-Exempt
