Job Summary:

Abacus Technologies is currently seeking a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will perform a variety of routine and non-routine accounting and finance tasks. This position has the opportunity to be either part-time or full-time depending on experience and preference. Part-time hour expectations would be 25-30 hours per week.

The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst position include:
  • Complete monthly invoice preparation, processing, tracking and delivery to Clients. Research discrepancies internally as appropriate Preparing routine reports and financial analysis, completing ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Managing Client service agreements and vendor resell/purchase contracts.
  • Perform financial analysis on client performance and quantify project costs
  • Maintain accurate client records to include primary contacts and sales tax status
  • Prepares, reviews and processes agreements / contracts for professional services and products.
  • Assist outsourced bookkeeper with Monthly reconciliation of credit card, bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
  • Follow up on open invoices with clients to determine payment schedule.
  • Review employee time sheets and expense reports for accuracy and assist with corrections.
  • Administrative support for CEO and Operations Team.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with Office Desktop Applications
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Proven ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
