Responsibilities

  • Support Wealth Advisor in delivering exceptional services to clients, with the potential to lead less complex client relationships.
  • Assist in managing and performing team to-do list.
  • Assist in making recommendations for and managing execution of investment decisions.
  • Review client reports, including net worth statements, performance reports, and estate planning flowcharts.
  • Assist in preparation for client meetings, documenting discussions, and managing follow-up.
  • Review and maintain estimated tax payment calculations.
  • Perform high level review of client tax returns as needed (primarily 1040s, 1065s, 1041s and 709s).
  • Work with Wealth Advisor to identify estate planning issues and opportunities; coordinate execution with attorneys.
  • Communicate with clients regarding financial/tax/estate planning topics.
  • Take proactive steps to enhance client service and maximize wealth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • CPA license and/or CFP designation
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Family office or public accounting experience, a plus
  • Experience with the following technology: Salesforce, Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Suite, Planning Software, CCH Prosystem fx Tax, Bloomberg Income Tax Planner (BNA)
  • Advanced knowledge of tax, investment, and estate planning strategies for UHNW individuals and families
  • Experience with custodian interaction

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.   • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
