Primary Purpose:

The

Corporate

Quality Manager

will provide guidance to departmental staff to ensure that the products produced meet both external and internal specifications and expectations and will ensure that the corporate quality policy is enforced.

Essential Functions:

Implement and manage all relevant procedures described within the Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and

ensure compliance

Management representative (QMS/IATF 16949/ISO 9001:2015)

Manage and responsible for Quality Department budget and forecast

Ability to manage multiple manufacturing facilities

Ability to lead and exceed customer expectations

Drive Customer Scorecards to maintain 100% rating

First corporate point of contact regarding all quality matters

Manage Internal/External audit implementation and continuous improvement

Championregarding the implementation and sustainability of a Continuous Improvement Culture

Management of full Quality staff including Quality Engineers, Technicians and Liaisons

Implement and manage key quality/continuous improvement performance indicators (KPIs)

Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making opportunities

Understand and develop risk assessments per operational improvements

Manage, coach and develop a high performing Quality Operations team that delivers best practice and promotes

continuous improvements

Full Supplier PPAP knowledge

Report the performance of the quality system to management for review

Schedule and report management review meetings

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree and /or 10 + years quality management experience within the plastics industry

Outstanding communication skills both Internal & External related to customer performance

Full IATF 16949 requirement knowledge and implementation

Internal / External audit experience (Internal Audit certification beneficial)

Knowledge ISO 17025 requirements

Knowledge VDA PPAP requirements

Knowledge CCC requirements

Explicit core tool knowledge : FMEA / MSA / PPAP /SPC/APQP

Sound knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance measurement standards

OEM & Tier 1 customer interface and portal experience required
