responsibilities

will

include:

Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key customers at multiple levels within customers' organizations to understand their needs and focus our sales effor Serve as primary contact and go-to problem solver for the customer. Provide operations, management, and program planning support for on-going business. Help develop management systems and program initiatives to support customers.
Commercial Leadership, Sales, and Marketing: With the support of the Monument FP&A and Manufacturing Teams; prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and negotiate and facilitate the execution of contracts. Plan and manage marketing activities for Monument's custom manufacturing capabilities, including exhibitions at trade shows, marketing materials and advertising. Identify key growth markets, customers, and capabilities to drive year over year growth in custom manufacturing.
Product/Process Development: Lead the development of potential new business and capture follow-on business with existing customers. Provide program oversight and technical support, including special projects for custom manufacturing clients.
Project Management: Manage Monument projects to provide the services described herein, including developing proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates. Review and approve technical approach, feasibility, and cost estimates for custom manufacturing projects. Plan and direct integration of program management team members and represent various functional areas within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, or related Advanced technical or business degree a plus EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science or engineering field, with demonstrated experience in R&D or equivalent production engineering experience.
Must be a strategic sales leader or have operations experience with 3+ years successful experience in the chemical industry.
Ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
Must possess strong relationship building skills combined with a collaborative personal style with desire and drive for results.
Experience in problem solving at both a strategic and tactical level.
Experience utilizing a high level of analytical ability.
Extensive industry/sector knowledge and experience working in and/or dealing with the emerging and developed markets in the chemical industry.
Demonstrated ability to act decisively and deliver results.
Strong negotiation, commercial, networking and communication skills.
