Manufacturing Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, interpreting and implementing their instructions for custom manufacturing products.
+ Update customer records and prepare and send quotes and written proposals to customers and potential clients.
+ Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to exceed customer service expectations.
+ Resolve billing issues, process product exchanges, and manage order acknowledgments.
+ Track shipment status of customer orders.
+ Use creativity to design or explore desired products requested if outside the norm.
Requirements:
+ Proficiency with telephone, call center technology, and Microsoft Office suite.
+ Basic understanding of business math principles for job estimation.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
+ Associates degree preferred.
+ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
+ Previous experience in sales, ideally selling custom manufactured products.
+ Computer literacy on company-supported programs.
+ Ability to read engineering drawings.
+ Knowledge of the companys Quality Management System
