The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and implement ways to improve manufacturing processes. In this role, about 50% of your time will be spent working hands-on with complex medical devices on the manufacturing floor.

Description

The responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Source and install new equipment
  • Analyze production processes and identify way to improve quality and efficiency
  • Manage technology transfers projects such as project timelines, project budget and design history file
  • Generate and update documentation and drawings
  • Support the sales team and make adjustments to products as needed
  • Create and execute design and process validation reports/protocols (OQ/PQ)
  • Assist with engineering tasks such as prototype design and test method development
  • Take part in project planning, such as developing timelines, managing resources and evaluating results

Profile

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical engineering, or a related field of study
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of cGMPs and IQ/OQ/PQs
  • Technical proficiency with Solidworks, Project Management Software and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work on design and validation of medical devices independently
  • Experience with process improvements and process validations
  • Strong project management experience
