This position must have a strong understanding of various insurances and stay abreast of payor requirements.Qualifications:High School diploma required some college helpful.Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.Knowledgeable and experienced with various computers systems; Ability to use a 10-key calculator and computer keyboard.Patient Benefit Representatives are part of a career path program allowing promotional growth when clinic goals and experience requirements are met: PBR I: 1-3 years clerical experience preferred. PBR II: 1-2 years clerical healthcare experience required. PBR III (Internal Only): 3-5 years clerical experience required.
