Senior Reporting and Technical Accountant Responsibilities : Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Research and interpret accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and assess the impact on financial reporting. Provide guidance and support on technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, and other complex transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions. Assist in the preparation of SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and other regulatory disclosures, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Support the external audit process by preparing audit schedules, addressing audit inquiries, and facilitating the resolution of audit findings. Stay abreast of emerging accounting standards, regulatory developments, and industry trends, and communicate their potential impact to management and key stakeholders. Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, such as process improvements, system implementations, and M&A activities.

Senior Reporting and Technical Accountant Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting roles, preferably in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm. Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and relevant accounting standards Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and accounting guidance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with senior management. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
