Project Engineer
The Project Engineer is a full-time position within a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This individual will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining systems infrastructure for a wide array of clientele. We are looking for an effective communicator that understands day-to-day business challenges and can creatively leverage technology to deliver solutions to our clients.
Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is looking to advance their skillset and career. This individual will play a key role within the organization and as such must be a team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
Responsibilities
· Maintain and support systems hardware and software
· Assess, prioritize, delegate, and escalate workloads
· Handle periodic escalations from Help Desk, Network & Security Ops teams· Consult with clients on essential and strategic technology matters
· Evaluate client challenges, propose and execute technical solutions
· Create, develop, and maintain procedural and client documentation
Requirements
· Hybrid schedule. Must be willing to work in the office at least 3 times per week. Full time M – F 8:30 – 5:30
· Participation in a call rotation
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
· Strong attention to detail, impeccable with follow up and documentation
· Motivated to improve operational efficiency whenever necessary with the ability to demonstrate initiative
· 5+ years of industry, ideally with an MSP
· 5+ years of industry experience as a system administrator/engineer
Technical Requirements
· Serve as a member of the Project Team, performing a wide array of migrations; including, but not limited to:
· Microsoft365/Microsoft Azure
· Windows Server migrations
· Disaster Recovery
· Migration from VMware to Hyper-V
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Exchange online
· Proficient in Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, & Azure VDI
· Microsoft Intune configuration/deployment
· Microsoft Certifications; ideally MS-900 / AZ-900
· Act as a point of escalation and a coach to HelpDesk engineers
