Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate and timely financial reporting
- Compliance with Company Financial Standards
- Preparation of financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements
- 3-5 Direct reports
- Monitoring the company's financial reports and processes
- Determining ways to reduce company costs
- Understanding the financials of the company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial states in good standings
- Managing and reporting on all aspects of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, equipment costing and job costs
- Responsible for all monthly and quarterly reports for sales tax, union reporting, workers compensation and job costs
- Regularly interface with owners and the CPA in preparation of independently reviewed financial statements
- Reconcile and maintain applicable general ledger accounts
- Payroll Administration and Support
- Coordinate audits
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- Experience with payroll or payroll support
