Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Centerline is currently seeking applicants for a Diamond Polisher Operator.
Vishay Centerline is located in Hudson, Massachusetts. There are around 20 employees in this machine shop operation, and it is a first shift operation. This role is an on-site position.
What you will be doing:
- Fill diamond paste tubes per process
- Fill lamp oil
- Cut card stock and prepare job travelers
- Read travelers and complete tasks as listed
- Take table measurements and measure thickness of parts using micrometers and microscopes
- Maintain a clean work area and equipment in an orderly condition
- Follow prescribed safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred
- Excellent hand eye coordination and finger dexterity required
- Demonstrated experience handling small and fragile parts
- Must have a continuous improvement attitude and strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and a team attitude
