Job Description Service Delivery DevOps Engineer - ( 22000012 ) The CWT Service Delivery Team builds and maintains automation workflows for core CWT IT and business services. This engineering role is responsible for building robust workflow automation for CWT technical and business teams.

Selected candidate will be part of the service delivery team within Enterprise IT. You will have the opportunity to make a large impact across all of CWTs business units, building and delivering vital workflow automation that helps our IT and business partners deliver more for their customers on a daily basis.

We are looking for a talented and versatile associate engineer to join our team Skilled software engineers with equal parts customer service mindedness combined with a passion for innovation and learning are wanted. We prefer candidates familiar with a solid understanding how applications work together, skilled at solving complex problems and who thrive in a highly collaborative environment.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

* Implement our IT organizations vision around workflow automation.

* Work with key vendor partners to implement CWTs workflow and service automation.

* Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand workflow automation needs and then bring those solutions to reality.

* Ensure developed solutions meet service delivery team goals.

* Solve problems business problems though technology.

* Implement technical solutions that help CWT employees work more efficiently through reduced manual effort.

Work with our Information Security Team to adopt technologies and measures that protect CWTs employees and data.

**Position Requirements**

**Experience & Education:**

* Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.

* 3 to 5 years Information Technology work experience with experience in scripting and basic coding. Exposure and experience with the following preferred:

+ Experience working in IT projects and concepts

+ Ability to communicate technically with IT peers

**Languages**

* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**

* Skills in problem solving and general troubleshooting.

* Practical experience with JavaScript, Python and YAML scripting languages.

* Familiarity with functional programming languages, examples being Haskell, Scala, Clojure.

* Experience with the following IT areas: APIs, virtualization, Linux, Windows, cloud concepts, network basics, Jenkins/automation tools, and security principles.

* Excellent communication skills and works independently.

* Resourceful, action-oriented with the ability to get things done and overcome obstacles.

* Forward thinking, creating a culture of continuous improvement.

* Ability to concisely communicate with peers and leadership.
