Position Summary: Innovative Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee professional services projects and customer conversion projects across the Innovative Systems eLation OSS/BSS portfolio (Billing, Financials, Mapping, SDP). The Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, meeting customer requirements and company objectives. Our ideal candidate has experience working with Rural Broadband and utility companies. Preference may be given to individuals who have professional experience with our eLation software.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and change requests. Lead project kick-off meetings and communicate project objectives and expectations to the project team and stakeholders. Ensure effective project execution, monitoring progress, resolving issues, initiating corrective actions as needed, and ensuring final project acceptance and closure. Continuously assess project health statuses and proactively adjust expectations as needed. Coordinate and conduct project meetings efficiently with internal and external stakeholders. Proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to address project obstacles and effectively manage the execution of risk mitigation plans. Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for solutions and integrations, providing expertise to both internal and external stakeholders.

Project Team Leadership: Facilitate internal project teams, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to encourage productivity and motivation.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide project updates and gather feedback. Address and resolve issues, risks, and changes as they arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions. Proactively manage and communicate risks to stakeholders.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. Perform project reviews and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost control. Allocate and optimize project resources effectively.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs. Ensure that all project-related documents are organized and easily accessible.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience. Proven experience as a Project Manager within Rural Broadband. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. Advanced level knowledge of Broadband and Utility Telecom industries. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Excellent telephone and email etiquette, effective communication. Excellent research and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Continuous project health status review and proactively reestablish expectations as necessary.
