Job Title: Quality Manager

Description:

Plan, organize, implement, and direct Quality and Test team members and material resources to assure delivery of products and services that fulfills the customers needs and expectations

Establish Quality goals, work plans, and budgets such that lowest cost and highest quality results are achieved

Assure that business activities comply with all applicable government regulations and contract requirements

Assure audit of areas of responsibility for conformance to quality plans, systems, and requirements

Direct company actions to maintain and renew AS9100 and AS9110 certifications

Serve as the Management Representative for all Quality audits and inspections

Provide quality plans and metrics to monitor and report division results

Direct process/product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization

Identify relevant quality-related training needs and develop methods to deliver this training

Develop a work environment that fosters open and honest communications to continuously instill confidence and credibility by actively engaging the workforce

Select, hire, train, and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet objectives and organizational goals

Recruit, manage, motivate, and develop staff in assigned area to ensure individual and team effectiveness

Skills:

Quality engineering, AS9100, AS9110, iso 9001, aerospace, defense industry, Audit

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in engineering, business or a science-related field from an accredited university or college

5 years experience within a highly regulated environment

Prior experience in a leadership role to cross-functional teams

Ability to travel up to 10%
