As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the finance department, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports. This position will report directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and will be responsible for various accounting functions including cash and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, fixed assets, intangibles, leases, and intercompany eliminations. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of GAAP accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
  1. Cash and Credit Card Reconciliations:
  • Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
  • Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity
  1. General Ledger Management
  • Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by ensuring all journal entries are properly recorded and supported and balance sheet accounts are reconciled regularly
  • Track and record prepaid expenses and ensure timely amortization. Review and analyze prepaid accounts to ensure proper classification and accounting treatment
  • Maintain lease accounting schedules and ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
  • Manage and record fixed and intangible assets, ensuring proper depreciation and amortization schedules are followed and accurately reflected in the financial statements
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations to ensure accurate consolidated financial statements
  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
    • Provide support during external audits and financial reviews
  1. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
    • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on GL management and financial reporting a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with Sage Intacct or Service Titan a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
