Description of Task to be Performed AnaVation is seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer to join a team developing a secure, full?stack web application to deliver solutions and analytics for a sensitive, high?profile program. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders and other developers to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that meet mission?critical objectives. Develop, maintain, and optimize full?stack web applications. Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to decompose epics into actionable Agile stories and tasks under the SAFe methodology. Develop responsive, component?driven UIs using tools such as Angular, React, Next.js, Storybook, and Jest. Develop, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software. This position requires a Top?Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. It is on?site in Washington DC with no remote option. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or a related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline. Minimum of 1 year of experience developing, testing, and deploying back?end software in a widely used programming language such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, TypeScript, or .NET. Experience developing Java software using the latest Java Development Kit versions. Experience implementing and using back?end frameworks such as Java Spring, Node.js, Go Gin, AngularJS, React, NextJS, NestJS, and related Java frameworks. Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including Agile development. Experience with software design patterns and antipatterns. Experience with development tools (git, IDEs, code quality tools, etc.). Excellent communication, problem?solving, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Cloud certification.
