Job DescriptionPRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:Identifies, defines, analyzes, and generates complex specifications for test conduction, coordination of systems and analyses, proposal submittal, and performance of applied research and developmentDevelops, documents, and implements solutions to complex technical problems associated with the analysis, design, development, operation, and/or modification of engineering products and services Researches, analyzes, and conducts equipment (hardware/software) design and development, system analyses, process studies, and research investigations for complex technical problemsEstablishes, develops, and maintains an effective working interface and coordination/exchange of technical information among multi-disciplined engineering groups, subcontractors, and/or the customerResearches, prepares, and delivers complex technical presentations to high level management and/or the customer.Defines, designs, and develops system requirements Assesses architecture and current hardware limitations Defines and designs complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system Analyzes and resolves difficult and complicated program support deficiencies Conducts independent technical investigations of system design Coordinates and consolidates design efforts on major projects Provides functional and technical guidance to less experienced engineers in all aspects of engineering projectsOrganizes and leads assigned sections of major program reviews, design reviews, and proposalsRequirementsMINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringDESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:Master's degree in Electrical EngineeringFamiliarity with Research and Development (R D) Pipelines (identification, evaluation, integration, testing)Experience researching, identifying, and transitioning innovative technologiesFamiliarity with System Requirements and Key Performance Points AnalysisExperience providing transition support for innovative systems and technologyExperience in Root Cause Analysis or Corrective AnalysisSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITYABOUT USScientific Research Corporation is an advanced information technology and engineering company that provides innovative products and services to government and private industry, as well as independent institutions.
