We are a busy Commercial Contractor seeking an experienced Construction Job Supervisor. Applicant must have reliable transportation, a clean driver’s license, be OSHA certified and able to reach jobsites located throughout Nassau, Suffolk and the 5 boroughs. The job super is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activity on the jobsite including managing the sub-contractors. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to finish. Lead and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and other workers on site. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and manpower. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety. Communicate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and safety documentation. Qualifications: Must have experience as a construction supervisor or similar role. Strong leadership and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred. Relevant certifications in construction supervision and safety advantageous. Working Conditions: On-site work, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions. May require travel and overtime to meet project deadlines.
