Sr. Director, SEC Reporting

We are assisting a well-known company with their search for a Sr. Director of SEC Reporting. Our client is based in Orange County, CA and is working a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the preparation of the Company's financial statements and SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and Proxy
  • Review of all annual and quarterly financial reports and filings
  • Works with external auditors, internal and outside legal counsel, accounting staff, and executive management on the review of SEC filings
  • Assists in the preparation and review of earnings releases, earnings scripts, and investor presentations
  • Develops and maintains effective internal controls in relation to the financial reporting process
  • Supports the evaluation and adoption of accounting standard updates, including drafting and maintaining relevant disclosures
  • Assists with month-end close activities and monthly financial packages
  • Ensures established policies and procedures are in place and adhered to in all financial reporting activities
Required Qualifications:
  • Active CPA required
  • Public Accounting experience required
  • Minimum of eight years' experience including five in SEC reporting
