The Assistant Property Manager must demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners and tenants (both current and prospective) this position will involve applying experience and confidence to new and unusual situations and is tasked with supporting the property management portfolio team. To succeed, the Assistant Property Manager must have a working knowledge of tenancy laws and regulations and be committed to the implementation of best practice. The Assistant Property Manager must always be seeking to improve their skills and invest in professional development.REQUIREMENTSState Certification or holds a full LicenseTechnologically proficientBasic accounting knowledgeLocal area knowledgeComputer proficiency-Microsoft OfficeManaging Referrals across DepartmentsFamiliarity with the following: Federal and Fair Housing Residential Tenancies Act - ORS Chapter 90Rent Control and Renter Relocation Requirements specif to Oregon and the City of PortlandAnti-Discrimination ActTrade Practices and Fair Trading ActsPersonal Attributes:Is highly organized with excellent time managementDisplays exceptional people skills with a customer service focusHas excellent dispute resolution skills with a passion for positive outcomesHas a proactive approach to systems and proceduresHas a prolific work ethic and close attention to detailHas an understanding of the importance of the team and the individual's place in it Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour Real Property Management Solutions is an Oregon-based branch of Real Property Management.
