Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company's procurement process, ensuring the timely and efficient acquisition of goods and services. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize our purchasing activities, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers while obtaining the best quality products at the most favorable prices.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluating their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.

Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements. Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.

Monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock availability while avoiding overstock situations.

Track and expedite orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Evaluate supplier performance, addressing any quality or delivery issues promptly.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts. Analyze purchasing data and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

5 years experience in purchasing, preferably in COSMETICS or FOOD.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in using purchasing software and tools.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
