We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis activities while overseeing day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires strong expertise in financial management, QuickBooks Online, billing processes, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and general ledger (GL) reconciliation.

Responsibilities: Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Develop and maintain financial models to assess performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and monitor performance against financial targets. Manage the billing and invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoice generation and collection. Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions, including vendor payments, expense management, and reconciliation. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs and capital investments. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in accounting and finance operations. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimize revenue generation and cost management strategies.

Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, or finance leadership roles. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis. Experience managing billing, invoice collection, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders. Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices in accounting and finance operations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making.
