Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

This position supports manufacturing by providing focused projects that will improve throughput, reduce inventory and reduce operating expense. Drives reduced labor costs through cellular manufacturing and new/improved methods and equipment. Applies standard practices and techniques, adjust and correlate data recognize discrepancies in results and take corrective action.

Hard Skills

+ Designs, implements, and preventative maintenance programs.

+ Ensures safe design and operation of all tools and equipment used by manufacturing.

+ Selects best techniques and tools for manufacturing operations after researching options.

+ Provides cost justification for equipment fixtures and tooling by selecting appropriate techniques and tooling.

+ Trains operators on the proper use of new equipment and fixtures.

+ Interacts with vendors to design and develop specifications for equipment.

+ Manufacturing Methods.

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

+ 5 years experience that can include education as well as experience.

Work Site

This position is fully onsite in Hampton, VA.

Additional Information

This position has a two step interview process and they have 3 openings.
