Demonstrated experience engaging with faculty, staff, and students across multiple disciplines. Demonstrated excellence in shared governance and administrative effectiveness in higher education. Experience with accreditation, assessment, and continuous improvement in higher education. Background in developing or participating in experiential learning programs.Job Specific Required Qualifications An earned PhD in a liberal arts discipline. Demonstrated knowledge of pedagogical practices and research trends in the liberal arts. Demonstrated excellence and recent accomplishments in teaching, research, and service at a level required for appointment as full professor with tenure in the Department of Liberal Arts. Willingness to explore how the liberal arts can contribute to Ketterings five academic focus areas of sustainability, artificial intelligence, advanced mobility, intelligent manufacturing, and new energy. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with program and curriculum development with a commitment to student-centered learning.
