---------------------------------------------------------------------------------_o Extensive knowledge, therefore, work experience of Mechatronics engineering, design, and analysis standards and practices, which includes translating stages, rotary motion, multi-link positioners, sensors, servos, actuators, end-effector design, path optimization algorithms and associated controls, etc. and documentation.

o Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.

o Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.

o Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines.

o Important - NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PLM, SAP knowledge, and experience engineering to SEMI Standards are a plus.

o Self-motivated team player with strong desire to learn and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks concurrently and with minimal guidance.

o Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.

o Ability to interact with customers and outside vendors.

o Experienced/advanced working knowledge of Office Suite, MS Project, and related communication applications.

Education/experience:

BS Degree or higher degree in a relevant Engineering field (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.). Equivalent work experience, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.

o Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mechatronics engineering

o Additional specialization in closely related areas such as robotics, sensor applications, or other fields.

o Semiconductor equipment design experience, with a focus on mechatronics design engineering preferred.

o Exposure to multi-disciplinary projects, such as imaging/optical systems, semiconductor, or lithography preferred but not required.

o Experience with PID controllers, linear and nonlinear calibrations, and flexible dynamics.

o Experience designing complex mechanisms such as robot grippers, end effectors, sensing development, etc.

o Experience/demonstrate strong technical writing and communication skills in English, including presenting results based on supported statistical evidence to audiences of a wide range of technical abilities.

o Experience with mechatronics behavior predictive modeling and methods: ability to apply “classical control theory” and “digital control theory” including frequency domain, stability analysis, Nyquist/Bode plots, Velocity-Acceleration-Jerk (VAJ), feedback/feedforward, dynamics, gain and phase, transfer functions, continuous/discrete feedback control, real time controls, etc.
