An exciting opportunity is readily available as a Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology in the Maryland/DC area.
This is a full-time, permanent position working for a reputable health system that delivers exceptional inpatient and outpatient services to individuals throughout Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. The Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology will work for a health system that continues to build, grow, invest in innovation and launch new programs so that patients in the community are able to access high-quality care. This award-winning, 350+ bed non-profit hospital is known for their Women’s Health Programs, Mental, Behavioral and Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, Research Institute, Cancer Center, and inpatient services. Reporting to the hospital’s Administrative Director of Operations, the Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology, will be supported by a Laboratory Supervisor, and lead a team Medical Laboratory Techs and Labor Support Techs across all laboratory specialties. Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology is accountable for managing day to day operations of the department, assisting with new-hire education, managing budgets, improving processes to increase efficiency, updating policy procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Ideally the
Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology
will have a clinical laboratory / pathology background working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, Clinical Lab Scientist within a Core Lab, Molecular Pathology, or Genometrics. The
Hospital Manager Molecular Pathology
should hold their bachelor's degree along with their ASCP certification.
