Electrophysiology Physician Join our esteemed healthcare team as an Electrophysiology Physician and play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge cardiac care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a highly specialized hospital environment, focusing on complex electrophysiology procedures, including heart rhythm disturbance management and ablations. Key Responsibilities: Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, independently and with proficiency. Conduct and support Heart Rhythm Disorder diagnostics and treatments. Utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System and perform TEEs and moderate sedation. Manage clinic consults and hospital-based cases, with an average of 20-22 patients daily. Maintain accurate case logs, documenting at least 100 EP cases with an emphasis on ablations within the last two years. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain certifications, including ACLS. Required Skills: Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Cardiology with Electrophysiology subspecialty. AZ medical license (or eligible to obtain) and AZ DEA registration. Minimum of 1-year experience in electrophysiology procedures, particularly ablations. Proven proficiency with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System. Ability to perform moderate sedation independently. Strong knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiological devices. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with advanced mapping and diagnostic tools. Ability to perform TEE procedures. Prior experience in hospital and outpatient clinical settings. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Education and Experience: MD, DO degree from an accredited institution. Current valid medical license in Arizona. At least one year of electrophysiology procedural experience, including ablations, within the past two years. Other Requirements: Certifications: ACLS is mandatory. Competence in moderate sedation and use of the Abbott Ensite-X system. Availability to work shifts, including planned coverage for specified weeks, weekdays from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with some holiday uplift at 1.5x pay.
