HR Manager

Job Overview: Search Solution Group is seeking a dynamic Recruiting Leader for our client, a globally recognized fitness center catering to children aged 4 months to 10 years. Based in Mamaroneck, NY, with the flexibility for hybrid work, this role is crucial for sourcing and securing top talent for hourly positions, revamping existing staff, and fueling growth as the company expands. The Recruiting Leader will play a key role in identifying and hiring exceptional teachers for gym classes, ensuring the staff is motivated and aligned with the company's mission to inspire healthy, active lifestyles among children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment efforts to find and hire hourly employees for multiple locations, with a focus on teachers for gym classes.
• Implement staffing strategies to continue filling roles efficiently as the company grows.
• Develop and execute plans to revamp and energize the existing staff.
• Identify key attributes of successful teachers by observing classes and applying these insights to the hiring process.
• Collaborate with management to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly.
• Create and foster relationships with potential talent pools in the retail, preschool, and schooling sectors.

Requirements include: Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience:

• Proven experience in recruiting, especially in retail, preschool, or educational environments.
• Experience in staff development and motivation.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in recruitment software and social media platforms for talent acquisition.

Certifications:

• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is advantageous but not required.

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of the preschool and education sectors.
• Familiarity with employment law and best practices in recruitment.
