Certified Nurse Aide

About the Role:- Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming, and other essential tasks as directed by the RN or LPN in charge.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety while following departmental policies and procedures, safety standards, environmental guidelines, and infection control protocols.
- Represent the facility with integrity and adhere to its Core Values and mission, respecting the dignity of each person.
- Provide exceptional patient care and answer patient calls to determine how best to assist them.
- Assist patients with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores and promote mobility.
- Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
- Obtain information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
- Measure and record food and liquid intake, urinary and fecal output, and report changes to medical or nursing staff.
- Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
- Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, such as open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine.
- Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
- Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms, to notify nurses.
- Stay up-to-date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
- COVID-19 Vaccination or Exemption.
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate effectively with staff members in a fast-paced environment.
