**Position Summary**

Responsible for leading a retail branch team whose primary function is to ensure staff provide financial solutions to improve the lives of our members. Ensures that performance standards and measures are met. Manages all aspects of a retail branch operation.

**Essential Functions Include:**

* Engage in Business Development activities within the operating areas of the branch in efforts to grow membership and loan portfolio.

* Provide leadership to retail branch staff by confirming that staff provide exceptional member services. Do so by providing training, job knowledge and coaching to ensure team member success in identifying and cross-selling to the needs of our members.

* Conduct consumer loan interviews, process and fund consumer loans.

* Advise members on mortgage/home equity loans, take application and close home equity loan after processing.

* People Management to include, hiring, administration and oversight of performance reviews, maintain branch schedules, train and monitor workload of branch employees. Allocate resources as needed to meet the operational needs of the branch.

* Assist with escalated member issues in an effective and professional manner balancing member requests with Credit Union interests.

* Maintain communication with Credit Union leadership and other branches. Prepare and submit standard reports and attend scheduled management meetings.

* Monitor all branch activities to ensure they are following established Credit Union policies and procedures.

**Required Education and Experience:**

* B.A. degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.

* 3-5 years of previous leadership experience in a financial institution setting or equivalent experience.

**Additional Skills**

* Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task under pressure.

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook. Excellent technical aptitude.

* Working knowledge of Equity Lines of Credit.

* Must have proven track record of originating and servicing consumer loans.

* Must have working knowledge of NCUA regulations affecting consumer lending.

* Must have good communication and leadership skills.

* Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.

**Work Environment:**

This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment. This position does include some remote work.

**Physical Requirements:**
