Role : The Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing communication strategies to effectively engage and connect with members of the congregation as well as the broader community. The individual will oversee all aspects of communications including print materials, digital media, and social media. The Communications Manager will work closely with church leadership to ensure that the parishs mission, values, programs, and events are effectively communicated both internally and externally.

The Communications Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creates and produces engaging content for various communication channels including print newsletters, e-newsletters, social media platforms, and bulletins.
Designs and produces print materials such as brochures, flyers, and signage.
Solicits and edits content, and coordinates production of publications as needed.
Develops, reviews, and maintains content for all social media channels.
Overseas the maintenance of graphic resources including photo library and logos.
Coordinates photography and videography of parish events with volunteers.
Maintains visual identity standards across all print, web, and social media communications.
Collaborates with staff and volunteers to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communications channels.
Evaluates the effectiveness of communication efforts and makes recommendations for improvement based on feedback and analytics.
Educational Requirements : A Bachelors Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or related field required. A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in communications required.
Software & Application Requirements : Experience with design software - Adobe Creative Suite, (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat). Experience and knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or comparable applications and proficiency in formatting and merging documents. Proficient in the use of social media platforms.
Other Qualifications : The Communications Manager should have graphic design experience and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to successfully work with staff and parishioners. The desired candidate will be organized and enthusiastic with a strong sense of teamwork, have a creative eye, the ability to meet deadlines, and possess strong initiative to help further the goals and objectives of St. Pauls.
