Join Total Wine & More as we raise the bar in the world of spirits, wine, and beer We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Internal Controls, reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of financial statements for lending institutions and vendors
  • Preparation of forecasts / budgets for outside partners
  • Assistance with month-end close
  • Assistance with annual audit
  • Responsibility for various account reconciliations
  • Analysis of general ledger variances
  • Ad-hoc reports and analysis
  • Preparation of journal entries
  • Leadership of process improvement / automation projects
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of cost-savings opportunities
  • Approval of key vendor payments
  • Approval of various tax returns and payments
You will come with:
  • Five years of experience in accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Public accounting experience is a strong plus
  • Experience in a large retail environment and/or multi-location services environment is a plus.
  • Experience in querying information from an ERP system is a plus.
  • Previous experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • MBA or CPA is a significant plus.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of accounting principles, including cost accounting.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
