The Sponsorship Sales Coordinator will support the efforts of the Sponsorship Sales and Marketing team. They will be responsible for administrative functions of the department such as building/maintaining sales materials, prospecting, giving tours, as be responsible for the day-to-day management, execution and activation of partnership accounts and relationships. They will assist in lead generation, building sales presentations and proposals, CRM management, client gifting and hospitality.

This position reports to the Corporate Director of Marketing & Sponsorship.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support the overall sales process in Corporate Partnerships. This includes assisting the team on renewal & new business opportunities, creation of recap slides and sales pitch decks.
  • Responsible for activation and execution of assigned accounts, ensuring delivery on all sponsorship assets in a company's agreement while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Build and develop relationships with Corporate Partners via regular in-person meetings and communication, conducting regular planning and activation meetings with assigned accounts. In doing this, the Coordinator shall learn about and understand the Corporate Partner's business.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sponsorship team.
  • Building and maintaining Sales materials.
  • Coordinate lead follow-up including email communication, phone follow-up, marketing campaigns and scheduling site tours.
  • Assist with Event requirements as needed.
  • Actively participate in client gifting and hospitality.
  • Answer telephone calls and emails.
  • CRM Management.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience working in a sales or marketing role
  • Previous experience speaking to small and large groups in a public forum
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends
  • Ability to read, speak and understand the English language
  • Language skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communication
  • Ability to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessary
  • Dependable transportation to and from work
  • Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • High level of computer knowledge including all Microsoft Office programs, and a CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Working knowledge of email software, such as Constant Contact or HubSpot
  • Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Guest-focused/service-oriented; ability to see big picture and impact on company. Supports Company mission as serves as an advocate for its products and services
  • Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees. Exhibits a respectful, professional demeanor

Working Conditions
  • Work environment: Upbeat, high-energy sports and event complex with heavy foot traffic and frequent large crowds. This position will primarily work in an office environment.
  • Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, talking, hearing, standing, and sitting for long periods of time while working on a computer. He or she will frequently be required to bend, reach, lift, push and pull. The team member will be occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Lifting requirements: The team member will be required to lift, push, pull, lower and/or move up to 35 lbs. occasionally.
  • Noise Level: The noise level in this environment is typically variable.
