AI / ML Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Mid Level

ALTA IT Services has a 6-month+ contract opening for a mid-level Software Quality Assurance Analyst with AI and/or ML fundamentals to support a leading health insurance customer. This is a hybrid position with periodic meetings in Washington DC. Candidates must reside in the local DMV area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct deep technical analysis/testing of release in the plan to conduct validation and verification of the entire application.
- Participate in Business Requirements reviews and work with systems analysts/developers to fully test application changes.
- Understand the functional specification and scope of releases to design robust testing harnesses to ensure quality delivery.
- Write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required from a multi-database environment. (Strong knowledge of Oracle database required).
- The Salesforce QA Engineer will apply expert systems analysis and design techniques to complex enterprise systems.
- They will have a broad knowledge of data sources/flow, interactions of complex systems, and capabilities/limitations of systems software and computer equipment.
- Work closely with the Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand product specifics and to create corresponding test strategies.
- Execute manual testing on frontend (UI) and backend (API) systems.
- Develop and maintain testing suites for a large-scale Salesforce environment.
- This position would be responsible for front-end and back-end testing for applications based on the Salesforce platform.
- Detailed knowledge of Salesforce applications and ML applications.
- 3+ years of relevant testing experience with a strong background in Software QA
- Cloud technologies and/or 3+ years of experience with Salesforce preferred.
- 2+ years of relational database experience including generating complex queries, setting up database connections, and automating query processing.
- Experience in automated and manual testing in a Cloud environment, particularly for AI/ML applications. (Python coding, data science, modeling skills would be ideal).
- 1+ years of experience with BDD/ Selenium and any automation tools.
- Experience using and sharing knowledge of Agile team collaboration and requirements management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong aptitude to learn and adapt to technology.
- Any Salesforce certification would be a plus.
- Bachelor's degree. Technical degree required.
HOURLY RATE: $48/hr. Benefits available. C2C is OK
