Apply now and take your career to new heights with usWhat would you do as a Commercial Property/Facilities ManagerDaily Responsibilities: As a new Commercial Property/Facilities Manager at Oakbrook Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our commercial properties. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting regular property inspections, addressing maintenance issues promptly and coordinating with technicians, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will also be involved in budgeting and financial management related to the properties.Your role will require strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise, as well as a customer-focused attitude to meet tenants' needs effectively. With the support of the Oakbrook team, you will have the opportunity to grow in your role and make a significant impact.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Directly manage a commercial portfolio consisting of approx 1MM sf while providing daily oversight of staffPrepare annual operating budgets and continually monitor monthly income and expenses for your portfolioBuild strong relationships with key business stakeholders by monitoring and listening to feedback, developing action plans, and delivering custom reporting for business-critical elementsEstablish and maintain standards and procedures for daily maintenance, as well as, monthly and quarterly inspections and property auditsReports all matters relating to the sites, risks, projects, and budgets to the appropriate cross-functional partnersServes as the primary facilities point of contact for all significant facilities mattersEstablish and develop excellent client relationships to foster growthAnticipate and oversee capital improvements to maintain the integrity of the propertyWork with the brokerage team to extend asset management services to our clientsOther tasks as assignedWhat matters mostRequired Skills: To excel as a Commercial Property/Facilities Manager at Oakbrook Corporation, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
