SAP ERP IT Manager on-site non-remote

An international company in the construction equipment/vehicle industry is actively searching for an on-site IT Manager in Houston, TX. This non-remote position determines the IT needs of an organization and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical business applications, with a specific focus on SAP (or other equivalent ERP experiences).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all information technology and computer systems
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Coordinate with other Global IT teams
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Assist with Financial/IT audit as necessary
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Create and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST) and regulatory requirements
  • Application implementation and maintenance
  • SAP (ERP) management
  • Be available on 24/7 level to make sure business runs smoothly, without suspension

Requirements:

  • Japanese speaker at a business level preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience as an IT Manager
  • Professional certifications desired
  • Experience with accounting systems or accounting background is a plus
  • Proven experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
  • Experience with VMware, Azure AD, Networking, Google Workspace, M365 Admin Center, Apple Business Manager
  • Experience with Starship, SAP (FICO, MM, SD, CS) SAP Work Manager, RingCentral, Unifi products, Salesforce
  • Eligible for W2 employment [no VISA support, no corp-to-corp (C2C) support]
