* This position is currently full-time telework with the ability to periodically work out of our Tysons, VA HQ*

Responsibilities

* Support LMI in organizing documents in structured share point site; establishing file naming conventions; review, refine, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and establish briefing and reporting templates. * Conduct research and provide findings in support of program's needs. * Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement. * Support the development and coordination of briefing packages and program newsletters * Be an integral member of a program management team and, in successive rotations, accept increasing responsibility. * Analyzing complex processes from an enterprise perspective. * Assessing operations, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and developing solutions. * Creating and presenting briefings to communicate findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

* Current student enrolled at an accredited graduate or undergraduate program and in good standing. * Pursuing a degree in business, finance, accounting, management, information technology or related discipline. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Must be available for 10-12 weeks starting in May/June 2024 * Strong interpersonal and listening skills. * Ability to be resourceful and self-sufficient. * Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all business matters. * Ability to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining high quality standards. * Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. * Perform general office duties, such as maintain paper and electronic files and databases, perform basic data entry, scan documents and save to network, prepare mailings, and deliver inter-office transmittals. * Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Familiarity or experience with SharePoint, authoring tools, and/or instructional design a plus

Other Information:

* Interns will need to provide their own transportation to and from work and locate and arrange for their own housing. * All intern positions at LMI are paid positions.
