**Senior Customer Service Agent**

**Main Functions**

* Responsive order processing for customers domestic and international

* Team leading under the responsibility of the director of customers service

* Provide tracking of shipments and updating customers

* Communicate frequently with internal/external customers and distribution sites

* booking and liaising with freight carriers, LTL, FTL experience with refrigerated freight logistics is a real plus

* Process international/export documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, etc.)

* Set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time

* Invoicing responsibilities

* Inventory control and transfer responsibilities

* Miscellaneous tasks upon request

**Technical skills**

Required

* Bachelors degree from a four-year college and/or eight years related customer service experience

* Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

* Experience with web based ordering/accounting systems

**Personal abilities**

Required

* Accuracy and attention to detail

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Must possess strong analytical skills

* Great team spirit

**General criteria**

Required

* Strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and negotiations skills

An asset

* Ability to multi-task

* Logistic skill, Thorough understanding of transportation modes and solutions

* Interest in the sciences
