Direct Hire

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Wage: $80K - $150K per year

Hours: 6 am - 3:30 pm, Monday -Thursday, 6 am - 10 am, Friday

Duties of the sales engineer / account manager:
  • Leverage 3+ years of sales/account management experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication.
  • Specialize in selling Assemblies, Laser, Turret, Press Brake, and Welding Services.
  • Utilize Solidworks expertise, if available, to enhance service offerings.
  • Establish oneself as the primary contact for customer inquiries and needs.
  • Handle prototype/design from initial stages through to completion.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of company margins and pricing structures.
  • Possess technical understanding in the Sheet Metal Industry.
  • Work with materials ranging from thin gauge up to 1/4 inch thick.
  • Implement "DFM" (Design For Manufacturing) principles effectively.
Requirements of the sales engineer / account manager:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales/Account Management within a Sheet Metal Fabrication context.
  • Expertise in selling various services including Assemblies, Laser, Turret, Press Brake, and Welding.
  • Proficiency with Solidworks is a plus.
  • Strong ability to establish trust and credibility with customers.
  • Comprehensive understanding of design from early-stage prototyping to finalization.
  • Acumen in company margins, pricing strategies, and technical aspects of Sheet Metal.
