to view more details about this job. ( Ref. 23024 ) Duties The appointee will work on the analysis of crash impact using modelling & simulation. His/her role will involve in-depth scientific work elucidating key mechanisms and controlling factors in the safety performance and running simulation to obtain data for the development of robust and reliable models. He/she will work in a dynamic and efficient team which is responsible for: To conduct crash impact research involving the modelling & simulation of structural mechanics, crash energy absorption behaviors; Prepare technical reports and presentations in timely manner; Support scale up and commercialization of all R&D results for industrial partners; and Performing other duties assigned by supervisor. Requirements

PhD or MPhil degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Materials Science or related disciplines; Skillful in modelling & simulation with commercial software, such as ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.; Experience with LS-DYNA for vehicle impact is a plus; At least 1 years of relevant working experience; Knowledge and extensive experience in material synthesis/properties evaluation is an advantage; Good command of English and Chinese, articulate report writing/presentation skills as well as abilities in literature/patent search; Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, ability of literature and patent review are needed; Work independently and able to communicate in teamwork; and Candidates with rich experience will be considered as Senior Engineer.
