Location: This is a hybrid role based in our Las Colinas, TX office. Position Summary: Trend Micro is seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst who will mainly be responsible for supporting the North America Consumer Business Unit (BU) and R&D teams in the US and Canada. The Analyst will report directly to the North America Director of FP&A. The position requires strong technical and analytical skills in the areas of: Budgetary Planning and Forecasting Business Analysis and Reporting Responsibilities: Support the Consumer team through revenue and expense reporting. Monitor revenue trends and investigate unusual patterns. Present analysis and recommendations to the Consumer management team. Build financial plans and determine the reasonableness of management’s assumptions. Assist functional managers to understand their spending and manage their budgets. Calculate Commissions for the Consumer team on a quarterly basis. Maintain processes and procedures to support the accurate and timely recording of expenses. Coordinate with the Accounting group and various functions during the monthly close. Summarize the quarterly results for Trend's auditors and Corporate Finance. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and/or automate processes and reporting. Participate in special projects as required. Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. 3+ years of financial analysis experience. Software industry experience a plus. Strong understanding of financial operations and forecast processes. Advanced Excel skills. Understanding of accounting and ability to create journal entries.
