Continuously follow the standardized rules in place for the Selig Global Quality Team. Oversee the production process to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Responsible for creating and implementing quality policies and regulations, collecting, and analyzing data, inspecting, and testing products, and documenting and resolving issues. Work with staff, customers, and safety authorities to improve quality, efficiency, and profitability. Job Duties

Build relations with key customers through effective Quality/Technical dialogue. Lead continuous improvement processes in the quality area and across other disciplines. Understand customer needs and requirements to ensure products meet expectations. Manage customer complaints to provide effective root cause corrective actions (RCCA) to issues. Train staff and employees in the science and practice of quality. Execute and maintain Quality Systems to the latest industry thinking. Rigorously analyzing data to determine current process capability and quality procedures. Manage vendors to improve quality performance by:

Develop, implement, and maintain raw materials specifications. Audit vendors when necessary to ensure quality performance. Raise SCARs and claims and work to develop effective vendor RCCAs.

Support strategic and tactical annual plans to improve plant quality. Compile and present weekly/monthly reports and analyze reports for suggested actions. Carry out safety reviews and risk assessments on quality procedures. Other tasks and assignments as directed. Knowledge & Experience

BSc/ Ba in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience. Certification in quality control is a strong advantage (ASQ, ISO 9000, etc.) 3 years’ experience in quality or related manufacturing environment. Skills

Conscientious and responsible A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach Excellent organizational and leadership skills Proficient in MS Office In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods “I joined Selig about 5 years back and find the workplace environment to be very friendly.
