We provide comprehensive services including finance, customer service, system support, and system maintenance. As we expand our services and platform offerings, we are seeking a Director of Asset Operations to lead our asset operations team in Houston, TX. Position Overview: The Director of Asset Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of the asset operations team, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability of Spruce Power’s asset management services. This role is critical for maintaining high standards of operational performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor the asset operations team, including asset operations managers, business analysts, and support staff. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Operational Oversight: Oversee the handling of customer work orders, ensuring timely and quality completion. Manage the process of assigning work to subcontract partners and follow-up on work completion. Approve quoted work and ensure thorough auditing of invoices. Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with the asset operations strategy and support team on special projects and partner onboarding. Drive initiatives to improve virtual asset performance support and asset production performance monitoring. Field Operations Coordination: Work closely with the field operations team to ensure optimal asset performance and customer satisfaction. Address zero generation and escalated work orders effectively. Enhance the customer experience during on-site visits and service activities. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Implement and maintain dashboards and performance metrics to monitor the health and efficiency of Spruce Power’s asset portfolio. Regularly report on asset performance, operational metrics, and strategic initiatives to the VP of Asset Operations and other senior leadership. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with other departments such as finance, customer service, and system support to ensure cohesive operations. Engage with external partners, including subcontractors and service providers, to maintain strong working relationships and service quality. Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement new technologies and processes to enhance asset management and operational efficiency. Lead initiatives to drive cost savings, improve service delivery, and maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in asset operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
