Establish customer relationships for construction servicesb. Educate customers on the construction processWork with customers to understand desired upgrades/changesEnsure that estimates meet client requirements.Project InitiationAnalyze labor, material, and time requirements for a projectCreate an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for construction projects.Deliver a consistent and well-defined initial estimate.Recognize project constraints and/or needed upgradesWork with the Project Manager to price bid items, if needed.Project PlanningIdentify and document finalized project scope of work.Work with outside resources as necessary to complete accurate estimates (i.e Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.)Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.Deliver and Communicate estimates to Project Manager.BenefitsPaid vacation timePaid sick timeIRAHealth care benefitsCompany/team building eventsNecessary Experience and Skill Set3 years of previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experienceSuperb customer service track recordEffective written and oral communicationAdvanced math skillsProficient use of Xactimate estimating softwareCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsTeam PlayerMust have a good driving recordPhysical and Work Environment RequirementsWalking and/or standing throughout the day. Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel RequirementsThis is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., MondayFriday, 45 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.**Pay range listed is based on average experience level and ability to generate work, amounts listed in this posting are based on average experience and can be adjusted for higher levels of experience.
