ABOUT US True Digital Surgery is a World Leader in Computer-Guided Microsurgery. We combine 3D visualization and guidance software applications focused on improving accuracy, efficiency and outcomes for surgeons and patients. Our medical imaging and guidance system employs advanced real-time 3D graphic capabilities and proprietary software that is sold to surgeons and hospitals all over the world.

SUMMARY The Senior Mechanical Engineer (SME) functions as one of the senior members of the Engineering team, working on both new mechanical designs of our 3D visualization and guidance systems for microsurgery as well as continuous product improvement of existing designs. Key system components include high dynamic range (HDR) 3D imaging cameras, robotic holding arms, embedded processing unit (EPU), 3D displays, mobile medical cart, power subsystem and related system cables. The SME position requires a dynamic, well-organized technical self-starter that can lead a mechanical design effort without any guidance. Will perform tasks to completion independently and provide supervision technical direction to junior engineers, be able to suggest solutions to technical problems, and serve on design review teams. The SME will also prepare and/or review proposed Engineering Change documents, test plans, test reports, and operating instructions. Will communicate with members of engineering teams, configuration review teams, Quality Assurance, critical suppliers and procurement personnel to define and resolve testing and production issues or improve/optimize testing and production processes.

SALARY AND PAY TRANSPARENCY Salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000.

Base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and all applicable company benefits. The salary range and/or hourly pay rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job posting and may be modified in the future.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following.

Organize and lead design activities for the development of new products. Organize and lead design activities to support Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) of existing products. Organize and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) tasks Generate detailed part drawings required to both fabricate and assemble designed parts Provides documentation inputs into the Engineering Change Order process Identify, source, and qualify mechanical components and suppliers Prototype build and test of designed products or parts Produce test procedures and reports to support verification and validation of mechanical designs Configuration management of part and assembly records Works closely and collaboratively with

Executive Management, Program Management, Partners, Engineering, QA, Regulatory, Operations and Customer Service personnel to achieve objectives Work closely with key Suppliers and selected Contract Manufacturers (CM’s) in the development and manufacture of TVS products Shares technical knowledge with others on the team Supervise, provide technical direction, and mentor junior engineers. Occasional travel as assigned by the PM or Director of Engineering Other duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS To perform the job successfully, an individual will demonstrate the following competencies:

Proficiency in Solidworks 3D CAD Design SW Proficiency in Design Drawing generation Proficiency in part numbering, BOM and ECO generation Familiar with mechanical engineering design principles and their practical application Familiar with various fabrication and finishing techniques Familiar with design techniques, tools, and tolerancing Familiar with finite element analysis Familiar and comfortable using machine shop equipment Familiar with 3D printed designs and printing
