Responsibilities

Noblis is seeking a Systems Engineer to work on complex projects crucial to our national security objectives. The Systems Engineer will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to assist the government in implementing and executing systems engineering processes to integrate capabilities into the operational baseline at a customer facility in Denver, CO. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support Chief Engineer and Systems Engineering and Integration Office leadership in executing systems engineering activities across site.
  • Analyze and document site system architecture and impacts associated with system updates/deliveries.
  • Collaborates with Headquarters Directorates, site organizations, and mission partners to ensure understanding of project requirements and risks (cost, schedule, technical)
  • Plan and evaluate budget recommendations to include risk assessments; research, prepare, coordinate, and advocate for specific unfunded requirements.
  • Document, develop and deliver analysis, recommendations, plans, reports/briefings to the Government.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field required and 9+ years or more relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of customer's space and ground domain mission and technical capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience with government customer's systems engineering, mission readiness, and project management methods, familiar with site mission and ground systems integration processes.
  • Systems engineering background; understanding of systems development life cycle from concept, requirements, engineering design, integration and test, deployment, maintenance, through decommissioning.
  • Experience in requirements definition, system architectures, systems analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation, and verification.
  • Familiar with model-based systems engineering and digital engineering concepts and tools; Agile development methodology, cloud technologies.
  • Polished communicator and proven collaborator; demonstrated ability to coordinate across all levels of government to ensure contracts effectively deliver required services and capabilities.
  • Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements with no supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's and 7+ years or more experience.
  • Experience in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling DoD or Intelligence Community projects or Programs.
  • Experience in architecture management, baseline audit, and verification.
  • Space and ground domain knowledge in customer mission technical capabilities and performance.
  • Familiar with JIRA, Confluence.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.

USD $125,500.00 - USD $219,600.00 /Yr.
