Job Summary

Under administrative direction to supervise, assign, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the Human Resources Department including recruitment, application processing, position and salary placement, credentials, employee/labor relations, maintenance of personnel files, preparation of complex reports, interpreting and applying policy, providing highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel.

3 letters of recommendation (written within the last 12 months)
Resume

Five years of responsible personnel administration including three years of experience with employee/labor relations. Three years of bargaining table experience. Successful completion of the Personnel Academy desirable.

Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training/experience in human resources or a related field.

Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid California driver's license.

Salary is total compensation. Medical plans are available for purchase. Enrollment in vision and dental plans are mandatory.
